On the morning of June 8, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Huzhou Industrial Investment Meishan New Energy Industrial Base (Phase I) project was successfully held. Jin Kai, deputy mayor of the Huzhou Municipal People's Government, announced the start of the project. Zhu Wei, deputy secretary of the Changxing County Party Committee and county magistrate, Zeng Yunfeng, deputy secretary-general of the municipal government, Gao Shenghua, director of the Changxing County People's Congress, Jin Ning, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Huzhou Industrial Group, Chen Baimin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager, leaders of relevant departments of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Municipal Commerce Bureau, Changxing County and Meishan Town, project parties, construction parties, and middle-level cadres of the Municipal Industrial Group, nearly 300 people attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

Tang Bo, chairman of Hangzhou Vulcan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and heads of various departments of the company attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The company will carry out the "Vulcan Photovoltaic and Hydrogen Energy Equipment Key Component Manufacturing Project" here. The first phase of the project covers an area of 113 acres with a total investment of 1.25 billion yuan. Chairman Tang Bo took the stage and delivered a speech. He will work with Huzhou Industrial Group and Meishan Town, Changxing County to create a new highland for the development of new energy industries with important influence in the Yangtze River Delta region.

After the completion of the Huzhou base, Vulcan will have three bases integrating R&D and production, which can provide carbon fiber composite material production solutions in multiple fields.
